DEHF // DESIGN POLICY & PRACTICE // RESEARCHERS // RESOURCES // SITE MAP The Programme for Advanced Interactive Prototype Research (PAIPR) is investigating methods for rapid design and development of computer embedded products such as mobile phones and PDAs. The team works closely with blue chip industries, including Sony-Ericsson and Lancaster University. PAIPR are partners with Lancaster University in the DEPtH (Designing for Physicality) project. DEPtH is funded by EPSRC/AHRC under the Designing for the 21st Century call. the project aims to address the role that physical interaction plays in product development and has also established the International Workshop on Physicality.
