The Programme for Advanced Interactive Prototype Research (PAIPR) is investigating methods for rapid design and development of computer embedded products such as mobile phones and PDAs. The team works closely with blue chip companies, including Sony-Ericsson and leading academic institutions such as Lancaster University. The group is active in four key areas of Information Appliance Design and prototyping research
PAIPR are partners with Lancaster University in the DEPtH (Designing for Physicality) project funded by EPSRC/AHRC under the Designing for the 21st Century call.
