Reverse engineering of existing products and parts can be an essential element in generating new opportunities and insights in new product development. PDR has two non contact, white light optical scanning systems for capturing complex 3D data forms into a digital environment. These, combined with more traditional reverse engineering technologies and 3D cad systems create a range of possibilities to capture and understand legacy parts and products.

This can be through capturing 3D data of complex geometries and components which may be difficult to capture into a digital 3D environment by traditional means.
